Review:
"An Unlikely Alliance" by Rachel Van Dyken was a good short, humorous and romance read. This story was of a middle class working daughter(Evelyn) of a farmer from Louisiana when suddenly her life is completely changes and now she and her father are now rich.
For the other part of the story... Royce McArthur is from New York and he is rich and has been issued orders from his Mother that he must grow up, find a wife and give her
grandchildren before she dies. The author did a amazing job in getting these two people (Evelyn and Royce) together for an interesting read because Royce's past history could certainly threaten anything between this couple. Could this be turned around? Will Evelyn decide to trust Royce or hold his pass against him? Then the author present another situation with the parents that is really cute. You must simply read this novel
to find out how all of this turns out.
If you are in for a delightful, easy, and romantic read this read is for you. I think you will find "An Unlikely Alliance" a good quick read.
