In Love and Liberty Lee-Ann Graff Vinson creates an action romance. Although a short story/novella, the author is able to provide enough background and depth in the characters to make them believable. In this story, Captain Jack Parsons and his unit are ambushed with many soldiers, including Jack’s love interest, Captain Dana Jenkins taken hostage. The rescue, an unexpected conspiracy and realistic military procedure, places this above the average romance story. A good, quick read.
