Alright! I am running out of authors to contact about our book club! I need our members to post authors they have interests in so I can contact them and their publicists in an effort to bring you more good stuff like contests, Q&A's, and other events! Please, please, please I beg you start posting! Give me something to work with, give me ideas! I want to make this the best book club ever! Thanks so much for your continued support!
My name is Chris Adonn. I've got a couple of ebooks on Smashwords and Amazon. I'd be happy to send free books or coupon codes to anyone who would be interested in reading them in exchange for an honest review on those sites>
Thank you so much Chris and Mike! Just so you know I do allow my authors on here to run their own contests at any given time. I don't mind at all. So if you ever want to do your own giveaways, feel free to post them and I will even advertise them on my various outlets!
I am so glad to have such wonderful members! Thank you!
I'm going to join Chris Adonn in offering coupons for free books at Smashwords. My trilogy "Irrevocable Change" consist of book one "Reverse Metamorphosis", book two "The Assassin Evolves", and book three "The Devils Homecoming". The story line is about the transition of a young man into a professional assassin. It is more than just a vicious criminal out killing people; it incorporates his relationships with friends and family and chronicles how he manages to move between the two worlds he creates for himself. The intent of the books is to capture his emotions and the happiness as well as the pain he brings into the lives of those around him. The reviews the books have gotten have been great but I need more verification of these opinions. To receive the coupons for free books in exchange for honest reviews and ratings at Smashwords.com please contact me at my email firstname.lastname@example.org Thanks, R.E. Schobernd
In addition to Novels I've also published a non-fiction political commentary titled "My Perceptions of Our Incompetent Incumbents". This is a critical look at both parties and how all of the Incompetent Incumbents have meddled in our affairs until we are in the present mess today. A coupon for a free download is available in return for a review and rating to be posted at Smashwords.com. E-mail me at email@example.com for the coupon and a link to my book site. Thanks and good reading, R.E. Schobernd
Hi Cypher! So glad to see you here. I think the coupon codes the other authors are referring to are where they send you a link to their novel whether it is e-book or paperback. They also send you a code to use to redeem for a free copy. I'm familiar with this somewhat on Smashwords as I get a lot of my review copies this way. You basically add the novel to your cart and then put the code in a promo code box or whatever box is given for redeeming, then you apply that code and continue to your shopping cart where it will lead you to another link to either download or give information to get your copy. Thanks for asking Cypher!
I'm new to your club but I'm an author for Melange-books and we have a lot of great authors and we all write different stuff. You might get on Melange-books.com and get in touch with the publisher Nancy and she can help you out. Are I can ask some of my fellow authors for you. Just let me know. T.D. Jones
Thank you T.D.! I would love that I will check that site out and get in touch with Nancy and of course ask more of your friends to come on over. I love having you guys on board and I definitely want everyone to spread the word about Great Minds! Thank you so much!
Hi! My name is Debi Faulkner, and I have three ebooks for children available now on all the various sites. I've also posted a contest that several indies and I are doing (with the grand prize being a KINDLE!) from June 1 to July 4th, 2011.
Also, if you'd like to reach some more indie writers, try the Kindle Boards (in the Writer's Cafe). Loads of wonderful writers who are nice and helpful, too. A good place to find traditionally published writers for children (from picture books to YA) is Verla Kay's Blueboards. The writers there are extremely nice!
Of course, this looks like a lovely place, too . . . guess I'll need to pull up a chair, pour that required cup of coffee and have a look around!
