BEN WHITE'S "THE BOY AND LITTLE WITCH" (A REVIEW)In a world where everything is described by adjectives that also serve as their proper names, this is a delightful little story about 'The Boy' and his best friend 'Little Witch'. It's a story about caring for your friend and realizing that sometimes what is most important is helping them regain the one thing that means the most to them even if it is just a 'pointy hat'. This tale is definitely one to cherish and seems to be a combination of worlds that have been cherished for many years such as "Wonderland" and "Oz". Ben White's story is beautifully and elaborately written and it is impossible not to envision the land he's created and see what a rich and wildly imaginative place it is. I loved this story and would definitely recommend it to other parents of children from ages 5 and up. The one thing I'd love to see is this book illustrated by a top notch artist. I can only imagine what it would look like! Definitely a must read book for the younger generation! -Kitty Bullard / Great Minds Think Aloud Book Club
