Genre: Paranormal/Fantasy/Romance It took longer than I wanted to get started on this book but, Once I got in the flow of things and was able to sit down I am pleased to say that the book did not disappoint me in the slightest. It was fast paced and kept the thrill in it. As well it kept you guessing and trying to figure things out the suspense was well worth it and just when things seemed to die down or have a moment of silence you were thrust back in full force with a turn of thrill in the story and an arch that took you on a magically wonderful ride. The romance was there but, there was the twist and turns in the story to keep it tied up between Ian and Joaquin it was hard to find who you wanted to root for more. Then you would find that you hated one just as much as you hated the other and could understand Leah's feelings on both of them. For once unlike some paranormal romance novels the sexual scenes are steamy but not overly done and they still leave somethings to the imagination fading out at just the right moments. Another thing that I am happy to say is that it wasn't a purely sex based book. To often than not that happens in stories or series and the concept of the book goes utterly lost. For it to be the first I have read in this series I am happy to say job well done to the author.
