"MOONLIGHT BLEU" BY RENEE REARDONAfter losing her one true love, Miko, so many years ago, an immortal healer named Saari is struggling with the memory of what happened and how to get rid of the nightmares that plague her. The year is 2032 and supernaturals have become more prominent in the human world although they still strive hard to keep themselves from being known. Some have found solace in the company of others and some have gone rogue. One of Saari's best friends is Mag, an Egyptian vampire that seems to have deeper feelings for her than she realizes.
Having loved and lost multiple imes she has given up on ever finding the love she had with Miko, so she keeps Mag at a friendly distance. Suddenly a dark, handsome stranger appears after Saari is attacked by a rogue vampire. Dhelis realizes almost immediately that Saari is his soul mate. In the meantime Saari's psychiatrist is trying hard to find out the secrets behind her lovers death... but why?
What I loved about this book were the many different scenarios that revolve around Saari, the central character, but still have the ability to stand alone. Renee Rearden has a knack for weaving stories together bringing them to one tumultuous conclusion. Though it seems there is more than one story going on at a time there is an underlying current that connects all the characters seamlessly.
"Moonlight Bleu" is an extremely well written and exciting read. My rating is 4 Ravens!

Most times I begin by saying whether or not the book reviewed is in the genre I normally do or do not read. As of late my Genres have been flipping and though I had a love of paranormal romance I had lost my interest when most of the books I had begun to read took on a life of nothing more than sexual conquest after sexual conquest no matter how weird some of them seem to be. Disheartened I had found myself floundering seeing something and unsure. That was until Moonlight Bleu fell across my path from the wonderful publishers at Crescent Moon Press. I was really not up for the task and even felt a little leery as I stared at my kindle and then. I took a leap of faith. Diving in with a ferocity and hunger to once again hopefully enjoy the genre that I loved so much. To say the least possible I was not disappointed.
The story was rich with detail and intrigue explaining future events and past with clarity that kept all real. There was the knowing a little of what would happen but then a twist when it never happened quite the way you thought it would. It was a page turner and with each one I found myself hating to think that I was growing that much closer to the books end. Saari was instantly a love of mine I liked how she wasn’t super human strong but she wasn’t a push over or scared. It was a beautiful mix of both as she struggled to deal with the effects of her past and the events of her soon to be future. There was no abundance of sexual exploitation and I felt like the author truly knew what was going to make her book more tasteful and down right intriguing. I’m compelled by the story and long for more. I want to know more about what will happen to Saari, Dhelis, Brogan and her best friend an Egyptian vampire named Mags.
Last but not least I have to thank the author and Crescent Moon Press for renewing my faith in this Genre once again.
