"The most mistaken belief is something far more disturbing, the notion that we can't appreciate a good joke."
What do a wannabe comedian, a lawyer a cop and their crazy brother have in common? They're all 20th Century vampires and this book is but a small part of their very normal, very funny lives.
Meant to be a satire/parody The Vampire Patrons written by Robert Gruett definitely did the trick. A welcome break from the typical vampire novels that are so common, this novella is steeped in sarcasm and was funny mystery that was very easy to read. The only thing that I found slightly disappointing was that the end wasn't nearly as funny as the beginning. But that doesn't mean I lost interest in it. Not even close.
5 Ravens and I can't wait to read more from Mr. Gruett. Probably.
