The novel was of a girl named Jenny Flemming who became a bookkeeper and caretaker of the children of Bill Williams after a car accident had killed his wife. Jenny liked her job and there seemed to be some strange interest in Bill's bother, Wayne Peterson. However, strange things had been happening at the Taralon. There had been some cattle stealing going on and now Jenny was now even suspected in the doping of Bill's horse, Pretty Boy. How will Jenny come out of all of this and will Wayne be at her side? One will have to read and find out! "Shadows Over Taralon" is was a good, fast and easy read. I think Jacquelyn Webb did a good job with this read and I did enjoy reading it.
