BOOK REVIEW – ‘Hold Me’ by Lucianne Rivers
After the death of her mother, hard-nosed, news anchor, Jane Caldwell is thrown for a loop when she learns her mother changed her will just prior to her death. Jane and her two sisters now had to find their father in order to settle the large ranch estate. The problem? Their father died in action over twenty years.
An anonymous phone-call made to their mother before her death, telling her Zach Caldwell was still alive, prompted her to hire a private detective. Three men who fit the description of their father were located. Jane follows a lead taking her to Guatemala.
As she tries to negotiate her way through foreign territory, Jane meets Harrison Deneuve, a tall, delicious, handsome stranger. He kindly guides her through the purchase of a bus ticket to where her father was last seen. She is grateful for his help and certainly wouldn’t mind anything else he cared to share.
Harrison is a man who thought he’d left his past behind. When he meets Jane, the beautiful, alluring and extremely out of place American news anchor, stranded and in need of a bodyguard, he is worried his carefully hidden life will soon be exposed.
