Book Title: Gone Author: Julie Elizabeth Powell Published By: www.lulu.comRecommended Age: 16+ Reviewed By: Maegan Morin Blog Reviewed For: Great Minds Think Aloud Rating: 5 Ravens Have you ever wondered what happens when you die? For Charley that question has been haunting her since the fateful day when Jenny, her 2 1/2 year old daughter died. The doctors are able to resuscitate Jenny but all resemblance to the little girl that everyone knows and loves is missing. Leaving Jenny to wonder "Where have you gone?" Gone is a fantastic story loosely based on the real life events that happened to the author Julie Elizabeth Powell. The author weaves a tale of magic and enchantment in a tortured mothers quest for forgiveness and understanding. I really enjoyed reading this book. The author has written this story so well the emotions in this book are overwhelming and you really connect with the main character Charley. You have a deep understanding of the thoughts and choices that lead her to where she is now. Its like experiencing first hand what the author had to go through to find peace, told in a way that everyone can understand. I give this book 5 Ravens for the beautiful story and writing. But I will leave a fair warning to anyone, this book will pull at your heart strings and draw you into a wonderful world that you want to exist. For anyone that's ever lost someone or anyone looking for peace.

Thank you very, very much for your review of Gone, I am so glad you enjoyed it. Yes, it was a difficult story to write, nevertheless, I hope it'll help others too. And it was wonderful being immersed in such a world. Yes, it did answer many questions and vanquished some demons during those waiting years. The spark behind Gone is the true account called, Slings & Arrows. Athough brutal and honest, readers will understand why it couldn't be written until after my daughter died the second and final time. It's an important story, and it too will, I sincerely hope, help others who have endured the suffering of a loved one. Gone and Slings & Arrows can be found, alongside my other nine books at lulu.com/julizpow or www.lulu.com/spotlight/JEP or as Kindle editions: www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=julie+elizabeth+powell&x=0&y=0Again, I thank you for your time and such a wonderful review. Julie
