Review:
"The Ice Bridge" by Kathryn Meyer Griffith was a good mystery with some romance novel. I thought that Ms Griffith did a wonderful job with her characters ....Charlotte Graham, Aunt Bess, Shaun, Hannah, and Mac for this story that takes place on the Mackinac Island where you will find no cars... only horses and bicycles.
Charlotte has left Chicago, due to her ex-fiancee has dumped her for her best friend, to get a new start and write about the island's ghosts. Charlotte plans to stay with her Aunt Bess....and discovers that she has problems with being in love
with a married man(Shaun) ...and then to renew a friendship with the neighbor (Hannah) who was once like a grandmother to Charlotte when she was younger. It wasn't long after Charlotte arrives that she finds she has an admirer who is a cop (Mac) and he offers to help her find stories for her ghost book that she is working on. Charlotte soon becomes the "Ghost Lady." What is this mystery with "The Ice Bridge?"
When Hannah comes up missing and believed to be murdered...it was the cop and Charlotte who made it there duty to track down this killer. Now I will stop and you must get this novel... "The Ice Bridge" to see how this all turns out..because the story really does some moving. Get ready for a ride and and some surprises.
It is amazing on how Ms. Griffith was able to present this love tale that comes about by showing so much love between all the main characters involved in this story. I found the novel a good read filled with romance, ghost mystery and I am sure you will enjoy this good read. I definitely recommend if you are a ghost reader!
