" Quiet River" was a very good mystery thriller novel. The story was of a Collins family: Matt, Lisa and their son Evan.
The family had visited the town called Quiet River, Washington on a weekend break. They had like this place because life was slow and everyone knew everybody. It was away from the hustle of the big city. When the Collins' returned home strange things started happening in their life... such as a sudden death of an employee of Matt's' and violent store robbery that caused the loss of their unborn child. Seeing his wife in so much pain, Matt decided with the help of his assistants' suggestion to move his family from Seattle, to this Quiet River for the summer. Matt thought maybe a change of scenery this would help his wife Lisa who was suffering from the loss of the baby. After getting settle into Quiet River, Lisa was beginning to get out and meet her some of her neighbors.... Mandy and Trouby.
Everything went OK for them while there in Quiet River, however, the Collins did not know that moving to Quiet River was only the beginning of there troubles that could possibly destroy their family forever.
The book was definitely one that you would find hard to put it down until you were finished with it. Even though there was a lots of editing that needed to be done in "Quiet River, " I found the book a very interesting and good read.
