This was a indeed a scary thriller. The story was of a kidnapped twenty-three year old girl named Inga who had been rescued from one sex slave situation to only be put into a even more horrible situation. Anthony, an attorney from Boston was visiting his grandmother there in Quiet River and was trying to get his head together after a bad criminal case. Anthony thought that coming to Quiet River would give him a chance to visit with his grandmother, visit old friends and old places but it seemed that most of the town people were only interested in when he was leaving.... and even his grandmother. It was very interesting how the author was able to get these two people together in a very interesting read. The plot of these characters in the story are good. I found it hard to put the book down until it was finished and I would definitely recommend "The voice of waterfalls" a good read.
